When living small, frequently the best use of space involves custom designed/built cabinetry that makes use of every inch- pinterest and the numerous tiny house websites have many examples.
However there are some off the shelf or easily built products from the RV, marine, and specialty design worlds that may be well suited to close quarters. Of these, many often have questionable quality or aesthetics (RV products specifically), or are prohibitively expensive. The Microshowcase has some examples of microfurnishings that I have either discovered or adapted. After daily use, that I believe the following provide an acceptable balance of quality, beauty, and cost.
