DC students tiny house build starts!

A long winter and some administrative delays pushed off the start date, but beautiful weather welcomed the arrival of Cardozo High School students participating in the Academy of Construction and Design tiny house build at the Micro Showcase. Students will be on site working until the end of the school year to build the 160 ft2 house. Students repositioned and leveled the trailer, and stacked wall sections they had previously built at their school. They also brought a boombox and danced in music videos that highlight each student. This should really be a required part of every micro house build. Energy is great, with everyone excited to get the walls up in the coming week.
